Gloria Elaine Natalie Bowman 2006 Halifax Chronicle Herald >From the collection of Charlene Veinotte Gloria Elaine Natalie Bowman, 81, formerly of Gold River, passed away peacefully October 14, 2006, in Melville Lodge, Spryfield. Born in Gold River, she was a daughter of the late Delbert and Mabel (Rafuse) Swinamer. She is survived by daughters, Joan (Dave) Quaintance, Hammonds Plains; Valerie (Wayne) Blackwood, Windsor Junction; son, Ken (Jessica) Bowman, Dartmouth; grandchildren, Natalie, Katherine, Craig, Robert, Alan, Matthew, Joel, and Joshua; great-grandchildren, J.D., Brandon, Conor, and Kyle; sister, Doreen (Hughie) Cuvelier, Bridgewater; brothers, Ralston (Tina) Swinimer, Blockhouse; Gary (Marlene) Swinimer, Alberta; Cedric (Rosalie) Swinamer, Gold River; Malcolm (Norma) Swinamer, Chester; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Maxwell; sister, Minnie; brothers, Ivan, Lowell, Lloyd, Scott, Garth, Lemoine, and Merrill. Visiting will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Tuesday in Mahone Funeral Home, Mahone Bay. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday in St. Mark's Anglican Church, Martin's Point, Rev. Robert Brush officiating. Burial will be in Western Shore Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Parkinson's Society of Canada, Maritime Region or St. Mary's Anglican Church, Gold River, through Mahone Funeral Home.
