Her passing leaves a vacancy, not only in the hearts of all her family but of any one who had the privilege of calling her their friend. She leaves to mourn the loss of a wonderful loving mother, four sons and four daughters: Claude, Elis, Vernon, with whom she resided, all of Hemford, and Oscar of Toronto; Lillian, Mrs. Mervyn Wile, Toronto; Iris, Mrs. Basil Wagner, Verna, Mrs. Norman Smith and Mildred, Mrs. Melvin Silver, all of Hemford.
