Born in Bridgewater, she was a daughter of the late John Phillip and Margaret (McLellan) MacIntosh. Christine waas educated at Brookfield School, Truro Academy, and Mount Allison University. She graduated in the nursing program at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Montreal and the Public Health Nursing Program at the University of Western Ontario. McGill University awarded her a Degree in Nursing. She worked at the Child Health Association in Montreal before moving back to Nova Scotia to serve the Department of Health at Sheet Harbour and Bridgewater. She was a long-time member of the Bridgewater United Church, a choir member and life member of the United Church Women. She enjoyed flower gardening, reading mystery novels, doing crossword puzzles, playing bridge, and travel abroad with her husband. She is survived by her husband, Earle; son, Peter (Evelyn) and grandchildren, Morgan, Durham, and Perrin. She was predeceased by a sister, Ruth. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday in Bridgewater United Church, Rev. Ivan Norton officiating. A reception will follow in C E C Centre. Private family burial will be in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater. There will be no visitation by request. Family flowers only. He was born in Westville 53 years ago, a son of J.J.(Hockey Jack) Campbell and the late Catherine MacLeod. He had been residing in Halifax for several years, where he was employed by the dockyard. Mr. Campbell was a member of the Church of the Holy Name, Westville. Besides his father in Stellarton, he is survived by a brother, George, in New Glasgow. The remains will arrive here late this evening and will rest at the Eagles Funeral Hime. Funeral arrangements will be announced.

He was the son of the late John and Margaret (HENRY) PATRIQUIN of Lake Road. He is survived by two sisters (Nellie) Mrs. Obed TATTRIE of French River and (Jennie) Mrs. Perley SWAN, Wentworth, who tenderly cared for him during his last illness. Also surviving are three brothers Elmer of French River; William of Wentworth and Roland of Pamour, Ont. The funeral was held from the home of Obed TATTRIE, French River, on Monday afternoon, August 13, and was largely attended. The service was conducted by Rev. G.E. WHIDDEN of Tatamagouche, and the Sharon United Church Choir was in attendance. Hymns sung were: "Rock of Ages," "Lead Kindly Light" and "Abide With Me." The pall bearers were Charlie LITTLE, Alex CAMERON, Charlie MacMILLAN and Edgar PATRIQUIN. Interment was in the Wentworth Cemetery.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman. His family was very important to him and he had a love for Newfoundland and fiddle music. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn (Brown); daughters, Nancy Jennings and Belinda (Jimmy Madden), both of Bangs Falls; Cynthia (Craig) Riley, Toronto; son, Barry (Nita), Bangs Falls; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; sister, Dawn Gallant, Liverpool. UNKNOWN PAPER - CHARLES ALBERT THOMPSON New Annan, Jan. 2 - On Nov. 26 1937, there passed to his Eternal Rest, Charles Albert THOMPSON, a life long resident of New Annan, in his 68 year of his age. Although he had been in failing health for some time, he was confined to his bed for only 5 weeks, suffering from diabetes and gangrene. Although his death was not unexpected, nevertheless the end came quickly, and was a shock to all. He will be sadly missed in the home where he spent his whole 68 years, and also in the community where he took an active part in everything where help was needed. He was a member of the central New Annan Orange Lodge and a staunch conservative in politics. The funeral was held from his late home on Saturday afternoon Nov. 27th and was largely attended. Rev. R.P. MURRAY spoke very kindly of the high esteem in which the deceased was held. Hymns sung were "Lead Kindly Light," "Shall We Gather at the River," and "Sweetly Resting." The pallbearers were Alex CONKEY, a member of the orange lodge, Bert COCK, A.M. SWAN, and John GLENN. He leaves to mourn their loss three brothers, George at Tatamagouche, Malcolm at home, and Robert of Pennsylvania, besides several nieces and nephews. Remains were laid to rest in the Bell Gift Cemetery, West New Annan, beside those of his brother Walter, who passed away at the age of 26 years.

Born in Lunenburg, she was a daughter of the late John Albert and Stella (Rafuse) Lohnes. In her earlier years, she was a correspondent for the Bridgewater Bulletin and later worked at Burns' Ice Cream Parlour for many years. She also was a registrar for marriage licenses for the province of Nova Scotia. She was a former member of St. John's Anglican Church, Lunenburg, leader of the Boys Chorus and was a former president of the Ladies Aid. Florence later transferred her membership to Central United Church, Lunenburg and was choir director for many years and a member of the Mary Gormley Unit of the UCW. She was leader of the Lunenburg Academy High School Chorus and a member of the Lunenburg Glee Club. Florence was a founding member of the Fishermen's Memorial Hospital, Ladies Auxiliary, Lunenburg. She was a member of the Bluenose Senior Citizens Club and the Women's Institute. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by nieces and nephews, Patricia Rhuland, Dean's Corner; Catherine Demone, Lunenburg; Roy Lohnes, Western Shore; Ruth Naas, Bridgewater; George Cooper, Lunenburg. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles R. Eisenhauer; brother, Douglas (Carter) Lohnes. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, Lunenburg.
