I was interested in your posting regarding Jacob Weaver.... I cannot help you with proof re Jacob, however, I am interested in your Weavers. My grandmother was descended from that same line. My computer crashed, and I am now trying to re-create my information. I wonder if you would be willing to share the info you have on the Weavers. My mother was a Porter, daughter of William Christopher and Sarah Ross---William was the son of Asa Porter and Melissa (Weaver, I think). I have the information put together by Elaine Deion which I found online, but nothing else. I would be willing to share further information on my family if you are interested.
