I believe she was Mary Belle's aunt. Mary's mother was Jane Spavold, daughter of William and Philena (Warner) Spavold. Susan was also married to a Barr, whose first name escapes me at the moment. Philena and Mary Belle lived with them after William's death. The information I'm actually interested in, which seems to be buried somewhere, is who Mary Belle's father was. There was no father listed when her birth was registered and I am very curious. She was my great-grandmother. Anyway, thank you so much for the information! Best, Jan
