    3. Dear Listers, I am researching William Thomas of Digby, NS. This man was a Loyalist who came to Digby in 1784, in themuster roll of disbanded Officers, discharged and disbanded soldiers and Loyalists mustered at Digby William shows in Timpany's Company as Capt. William Thomas, with a household containing 1 adult male, 1 adult female, 2 children under 10 and 3 servants. William was born in Pennsylvania to Richard and Elizabeth Walton Thomas. He was a Loyalist in Northampton County PA, and was sent to New York with the British after the battle of Yorktown, leaving from New York to Digby. William's wife Mary Rhodes Custer Thomas supposedly came to Digby with him. We have no information about this family beyond the above facts. I am looking for any information on them after their arrival in Digby, census records, marriage records, church records, names of the adult female, 2 children and servants stated to be with them who settled in Digby. This information is for a research project which will hopefully result in a followup of the lives of the Loyalists of Northampton County PA. All and any information on this man and/or sources we might research long distance would be most welcome, sources are also important on any info offered. We appreciate all the help we can get on this project, these are an interesting group of people to study. Sincerely, Judy McElderry -- No virus found in this outgoing message.
