When did O'Brien's first arrive in NS? I am looking for information on parents of William O’Brien. In 1763 a Henry O’Brien received a land grant for 500 acres in Sackville, NB. I think NB was part of Nova Scotia at that time. Could Henry be his grand father? I was under the impression that my grand father George Lennox OBrien’s family were from County Cork, Ireland. I now know that his father Edward and his grand father William were both born in Canada, Edward, in either Sackville or Cookville NB, my grandfather George born in Cookville, NB.
