In the book he says that the Caldwell familiy lived at Cherry Valley from Feb 1806 until Sept. 1811. At that time the adjoining land, on the southwest side was owned by Daniel Van Velsor " likely a brother of Nancy Caldwell". >From the History of Freeport by Rev. Walter Greenwood : (info from Trinity Parish Church records) : Married - At little River, on 7 Dec 1806, David Teed with Rachel Caldwell. Baptisms: (1) -- 22 Sept 1791, at Petite Passage -- Nancy Caldwell, wife of John Caldwell, an adult. --- A female child of John Caldwell, named Rachel. (2) -- 28 Aug 1798, at Grand Passage (Freeport) - A female child of John Caldwell, named Rebecca.-- A female child of John Caldwell, named Phebe. >From the History of Digby County - the Burial Register at Digby : April 12, 1830 (burial date), John Caldwell, of Caldwell's Cove, aged 86 years.
