I always thought my grandfather's side was from Annapolis county, but I thought I'd take a look. It very well could be the 1820's. I have hit a brick wall with that branch of the family. The Haynes families I know about around here are from Victoria Beach (historic seaside fishing community), Annapolis County, Nova Scotia, about 25 minutes from Annapolis Royal.
