I am hoping to determine the names of the parents of Elisha Titus and his wife Mary of Digby County Nova Scotia. I don't have their exact dates of birth, but their daughter Elmira Titus was married on July 29, 1879 to Edward Leonard Thurber in Digby County, and that Elmira was the daughter of Elisha and Mary Titus (suggesting Elisha and Mary were likely born in the 1820s or 1830s - also I imagine in Digby County). I had entered in my notes that Elmira was the daughter of Losee Titus and Mary D'arcy from an internet entry, and somehow along the way that note became something like fact. I just discovered that marriage record for Edward and Elmira Thurber though which suggests rather strongly that Losee and Mary Titus were not in fact Elmira's parents. Thank you for any help you might be able to provide.
