A copy of the marriage record of Quinn & Alice would probably list their parents' names. ---Quinn Mcgregor was b. Jul 1863 in Annapolis NS, immigrated 1880. ---Mary Alice (Purdy) Mcgregor was b. Nov 1866 in Shelbourne NS, immigrated 1883. ---married 1885 in Hamilton, Essex Co., MA [Hamilton v.361 p.230] & lived in Hamilton. By 1910 they had 11 children and 11 living children. Children all b. MA. Their youngest child, JOHN QUINCY MCGREGOR, was born 3 Aug 1906 at Hamilton, Essex Co., MA, father: Quinn McGregor, b. Annapolis NS, mother: Alice Purdy, b. Shelbourne NS.
