Dear Winnifred: Afraid this will not be much help but maybe you will either confirm or deny a connection at some poit in time. Regards, Carol Vater [email protected] Hamiltons in lower Digby county were plentiful in that time period. I have a Henry Hamilton, but no further generations or spouse for him. Born 1805, he would be abt 20 in 1825, close to your man for a possible marriage date around 1820??? His ancestors were not as you quote, so doubt it is the same one, but for what it is worth: Descendants of Daniel Hamilton 1st (his father came from Chatham, Mass. via Shelburne, NS to Argyle region. I know that because Dan 2nd married Bridget Gavel who was from my grandmother's family line. Henry must have been his twin, as they have the same birthdate.) 1. Daniel Hamilton3 1st (Samuel2 Hamilton, Thomas1) He married Penelope "Nellie" Morton December 25, 1794. Children of Daniel 1st and Penelope Morton are: 2 i. Wells4 Hamilton, born August 01, 1796. 3 ii. David Hamilton, born September 24, 1798. 4 iii. Tamsy Hamilton, born August 16, 1800. 5 iv. Job Hamilton, born October 21, 1802. 6 v. Daniel Hamilton 2nd, born November 23, 1805; died August 27, 1866. He married Bridget Gavel December 24, 1829; born March 07, 1808; died September 11, 1903. 7 vi.
