Greetings and salutations to everyone. I am searching for my Jones ancestors and their families that settled in Digby County in the late 1700's or early 1800's. I ask for your guidance and help in locating them and their descendants. My ancestors Edward, William, and Nicholas (sons of Thomas Jones) went to Nova Scotia after the American Revolutionary War and only Edward returned to New Jersey. Their father was Thomas, born in Wales ?, who settled in Bergen County, NJ about 1750. From the little information I have, Edward was a Justice of the Peace there before returning to New Jersey, and William is buried at Clement Port, Digby County. I hope to find information to prove this and hopefully establish contact with anyone that can help me piece together this missing link in our family tree, and learn more about my ancestors.
