Hi Shirley, I can`t thank you enough . I really appreciate this information . And I certainly will try to get my hands on a copy of this book. From the looks of it this branch of my family goes way back. Were you able to determine if you are related? Since you`re working with cubs and not cub scouts I`m assuming you are probably located in N.S. I`m going to pass this on to my cousin Katherine , I know she will appreciate having this . I`ll take a trip across the harbour to the Halifax Library in the meantime to take a look at their copy of "The Hubbard Family of Nova Scotia" and fill in the dates for all these "new" ancestors. Thanks again Bob Brooks Dartmouth N.S. P.S. Good luck with the Cubs . We both enjoyed our years in scouting and followed our boys through all their years in the program. Had lots of fun and great memories too . Hope you will have them also. It will all fall into place after a few weeks and a "Wood Badge I " weekend course.
