He was my great-uncle on my mother's side, and I remember meeting him when I was a small boy. He was president of Elmira College, Elmira, New York for some time, and I contacted the archives department of the college for information on him, which they furnished. I have done considerable research on the Lent family, and can tell you that he was one of the most outstanding personalities that I have run across. What a man he must have been!!
