My grandfather was born in Digby, N.S. on Feb 03, 1911...now here is the problem...there doesnt seem to be any record of his birth...his mom's name was supposedly Ella McKinnon. We do know however, that he was given to the Ellis family that ran the pt prim lighthouse to be raised. Can anyone clarify any of this information for me please ?? Who was his natural father and where was he born ??? ( home or hospital ) Also, is there any school records for George ??
