Asa Peter Jones was in the early 1823-4 listings in Ontario. He was born in the states, listed MA and NY as birth. He went to Ontario through Grimsby, Ont. marrying Lydia Morse, d of Israel Morse and Margaret Kitchen. An earlier Jones Family had Augusta Jones as a surveyor. I am finding the Rice and Hamilton Family connection more and more with the Jones. Clara, Frank, James, Richard, Leslie, Vernon, Robert all run in the family
