I have now found out that the father of Archibald Hamilton married to Mary McGregor was Thomas Hamilton that was in NS 1778 Sandy Cove before coming from Grandville NS. Mary McGregor married Danial Van Velzor after Archibald died, moved to Maine and had one other child, Betsy. Archibald and Mary McGregor had Henry Hamilton that married Mary Rice. The daughter of Henry and Mary Rice Hamilton had Ruth Hamilton married to John Clark. Ruth Hamilton was the mother of my great grandmother Rachel Clark. All the Clark children were born in Ontario. I know nothing of the father and mother of John Clark. Believe John had a brother Jonas, maybe a Samuel. The parents could have been William and Mary. William and Mary deeded land to John early 1823. Believe William had a brother John also as their names are on land from Talbot. Ruth Hamilton had a brother Henry Jr. that married Mary Lumley. I certainly appreciate all your kindness.
