    1. [CAN-NS-DIGBY] Second wife of Archibald Hamiliton Jr. to Magadalene Isreal
    2. Winifred K Miller
    3. Archibald Hamilton Jr. b 1-8-1780 first married Ruth Rice (1800) then his second wife was Magdalene Isreal. (Married 1803) His third marriage was 1828 to Maria Charlotta ? Do not know if she is in your family or not. From patterns I wouldn't believe Magdalene was of the Jewish Faith. They would have been in the Digby Area. Ruth Rice may be the sister of my Mary Rice that married Henry Hamilton. Henry brother of Archibald Jr.

Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/SOC.2ACE/200.5.1 Message Board Post: I am a descendant of Solomon and Mary J. Israel and am actively involved in the US National Family Reunion of the Israel Family. We have a book, "The Children of Israel" that was researched and authored by Dr. Kenneth Israel of Candler, North Carolina. We meet each year in varying places around the US and we have done DNA testing of the direct male descendants and are now looking into our background as we are probably descended from Jewish males and those of Spanish descent who came to the New World through Holland and the Dutch Islands in the West Indies and then to New Amsterdam. Our branch then went to Virginia and then to North Carolina. We are now spread all over the US and Australia. We welcome anyone who is interested and you can write to me at the above e-mail or at 1945 West River Road, Grand Island, NY 14072.
