Croix Catholic Church, Plympton, Nova Scotia on November 22, 1851. Marie was born October 5, 1827 in Plympton, d/o Pierre Melanson & Marie Suzanne Saulnier. Marie & John had a family of 10 children. One of their daughters, Henrietta Morrissey married William Maillet on May 4, 1869 in Annapolis, NS. She died on January 27, 1947. Sources: 1. The Melanson/Melancon Family Project by Mike Melanson 2. (DELON) JOHN of Weymouth North occurred December 19 at the home of his niece, Mrs. Randy ELLIS, Digby. Known to many as George DELON the deceased was born at Bloomfield, Digby County, 62 years ago and was the son of the late John and Jane (COMEAU) JOHN. Surviving are his widow, the former Lydia THERIAULT three sons. Edward and Frederick of Weymouth North; Patrick of Forest Gen, Yarmouth County; and two daughters Marguerite (Mrs. Harry HEIGHT. Hillgrove, N.S.) and Dorothy (Mrs. Harry WALKER. Weymouth). Also surviving are four sisters. Mrs.W. M. COSMAN, Brighton. Mrs. A.B. CUMMINGS, Digby. Mrs. William AMERO, Hamdon, Conn. and Mrs. Maynard MELANSON, Plympton Station and one brother. Henry, of Bloomfield. Funeral services were held from St. Croix Church, Plymptom with Rev.
