I Looking for all the Griffins who would have been married, baptized, died (or any other records on the Griffin). They came to the Margaree area in 1815, and then moved to Aspy Bay about 1850. Does anyone have any Church Record of the Northeast Section of Cape Breton (Cape North, Aspy Bay, Meat Cove. I have a William Griffin who married a Catherine McInnis. They got married in Margaree. I need to know who his father was; this must be mentioned in the act. of marriage. Is he the son of Daniel, William, John, or Donald Griffin? He had five children: Michael, Donald, William, Catherine, & Margaret. (I found his children in the census.). I need to find there baptismal or any other church or archives records about them. In 1871, this family was in the Cape North/Aspy Bay area. I would appreciate any info on any Griffin found in theses area (Margaree/Cape North). The Griffin came to Aspy Bay from Margaree about 1850.
