Born in Glace Bay, he was the son of the late Ross and Isabel (Nicholson) Campbell of Birch Grove. Scott was employed with the Dept. of National Defense, Victoria Park, Sydney. He enjoyed music, reading and cooking, especially for his friends, and he enjoyed family dinners. Scott will be sadly missed by brothers, Calder (Eleanor), Calgary, Alta., Ronald (Clara), Antrim, N.S., Alexander, Birch Grove; by nephews, Stephen, Jerrod, Justin and by his aunt, Lois MacIntyre. Visitation for Scott will take place at Patten Funeral Home , 71 Union St., Glace Bay on Saturday, Oct. 23, 2010 from 1-2 p.m. with a memorial service to follow at 2 p.m. in Patten Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplin David Luker officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Reception will follow at the Bay Plex, North Street. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice. Online condolences may be forwarded to the family at www.pattenfuneral.com. ************************************** Ronald Keith Noble Born in: Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada Passed away in: Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada Passed away on: 19/10/2010 It is with deep regret that I announce the passing of my father, Ronald Noble on Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2010, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney. Born in Sydney, he was the son of the late William and Lydia (Cuff) Noble. He was a meteorologist in the air force; he then was employed with the Sydney Steel Corp. for many years as the schedule manager of the open hearth. He was the owner and operator of the Furmar Upholstery. Up until his death he worked with his hands doing needlepoint and tole painting. Ron was a member and an elder for many years of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, both in Sydney and Glace Bay. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Ron is survived by his loving daughter, Deborah (Roy) Tucker, Sydney; sister, Vera Marks, Ontario; brother, Raymond (Vivian) Noble, Ontario, as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Sarah, daughter, Rhonda Pitchuck, sisters, Marjorie Shephard and Joan Noble. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation by request. Memorial service will be held 2:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 23, 2010, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Alexandra Street, Sydney. Born in Calgary, he was a son of Edward Clements and Deborah (Bishop) Clements. Graham was an individual who excelled in the arts of drawing and music. He had a gift of portraiting, and playing the piano. He excelled in skateboarding in his younger years, and was active in the gym. He shared his caring passionate personality with all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his father, Ed Clements and partner Ron Osowski; mother, Deborah Clements; brothers, Kevin, Michael, Edward; daughter, Kylie and her mother Amanda; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by infant daughter, Cadance. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main St., Dartmouth, where visitation will be held 6-9 p.m. Friday. Born in North Sydney, he was the son of Primrose (Sheffield) Oram, a resident of Taigh Solas, Northside General Hospital and the late Wilfred H. Oram. Robin was employed for a period of time in maintenance with the Northside Victoria School Board. He was an avid reader, enjoyed music and had a keen interest in sports. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Anglican Church, North Sydney. Besides his mother, Primrose, Robin is survived by his brother, Brian (Colleen) Oram, Sydney, and his two nieces, Stella Rose Oram, Halifax, and Sara Ann Oram, Toyko, Japan; and also by a large extended family. He was predeceased by his father, Wilfred H. Oram. There will be no visitation. A private funeral service and burial will be held for Robin under the direction of W.J. Dooley Funeral Home, 107 Pleasant St., North Sydney. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Wilfred H. Oram Memorial Library.
