Charles 'Chuck' is survived by his partner, Geraldine Boland; son, Tyler, 15; daughters, Holli, 17, Brittany, 14; Tracie, Lisa Marie; mother, Lois (Swan) Currie; brothers, Tony (Mary Margret) and Sheldon (Heather); nephews, Ryan Currie, Tyler Currie, Kyle Currie, Brock and Brady Paul; nieces, Ashley Currie, Brandy Paul, Rayne Bear; grandnieces, Mya Currie-Boudreau and Liberty Francis. He was predeceased by his father, Anthony 'Tony' Currie. Chuck travelled to many parts, but he loved being home in Cape Breton, where he spent his early years. To count his many friends would be difficult, as all who came to know Chuck were treated as if he had known them all his life. To say Chuck lived life to the fullest would underscore the fact. His memories of younger days on lake boats, experiences in Western Canada, to working on Hibernia and the Confederation Bridge, evoked stories about all he had come in touch with. Many were folks from home. He will be dearly missed by his family, especially his children who were his greatest joy. There will be no visitation. A funeral mass will take place today (Monday) at 2:30 p.m. in St. Joseph Church, Bras d'Or, with Fr. Peter McLeod officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Francis Funeral Home, Sydney Mines. In lieu of flowers, there will be a benefit for the family Oct. 7 at the Blue Mist Tavern in Bras d'Or. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to d.francis@ns.sympatico.ca. ************************************************** Sanford Frederick Hart Born in: Margaree Valley, Nova Scotia, Canada Passed away in: Margaree Valley, Nova Scotia, Canada Passed away on: 24/09/2010 Sanford Frederick Hart, 93, of Margaree Valley died Sept. 24, 2010, at home.
