Born in New Waterford, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Pearl (Samuel) Cameron. Marg was a member of the Parish of St. Leonard. She worked at the B&W in New Waterford for several years. Marg was dearly loved by her family and so many caring and supportive friends, too countless to name, however acknowledged. Special mention to her friends from the boardwalk in Sydney, Geraldine and Frank, Jules, and all the others who had kind words, a story or a laugh to share. Anne Marie, her dear friend and 'accomplice' with whom she enjoyed a fun and wonderful sisterhood. Her long life friend and guardian, Winston and Rhona who are considered extended family. Marg was a devoted mother and wife and a loyal friend to all. She had a sparkling personality and her innocent, unassuming sense of humour was enjoyed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She had her own unique perspective which was honest and true. She cared deeply for her family and valued her friendships. She gave whole heartedly of herself and accepted the world as it was. She asked little of others and was grateful and appreciative of what she had. Her strong sense of community for her church will lead her home to be with her beloved husband. Now they can share eternity together. We are so thankful to have had them both. RIP. Surviving are her son, Glenn MacMullin, Toronto; daughters, Lynn (James) MacMullin-Cudmore, Calgary, Shauna MacMullin, Halifax; brothers, Andy, Mike 'Bat', Joe, Maynard; sisters, Theresa, Mary, Lorraine, Carm; sister-in-law, Lois and her husband Ed Pauk. Marg was predeceased by her husband, Wayne, brothers, Rob and Bernie. Visitation will be held Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, 380 Smith St., New Waterford. A funeral mass of celebration for Marg will take place Friday, Sept. 24 at 10 a.m. in the Parish Church of St. Leonard, Mount Carmel Avenue, with Fr. Ray Huntley officiating. Cremation will follow with burial in St. Michael's Cemetery, River Ryan, at a later date. A luncheon will be held at the Knights of Columbus Hall, Plummer Avenue, New Waterford, immediately following the funeral mass. Donations in her memory may be made to the Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Foundation. Online expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at: www.vjmcgillivray.ca. Your gentle face and pleasant smile With sadness we recall. You had a kindly word for each And died loved by all. You are not forgotten loved one Nor will you ever be. As long as life and memory last We will remember thee. **************************************** Mary J.
