I am searching for a place name called "Lloyd's Cove," or at least that is the way it was shown in my source information. It is shown as a place of birth for someone, supposedly in the Cape Breton area if not Cape Breton County itself, but my normally pretty reliable place name search database does not list it in that form anywhere in Nova Scotia, though it does offer me a "Lloyds" in Kings County but I have reasons for doubting that one. The one I am looking for is or was a very small place on the coast, and may not even still exist as much more than a faint memory, so that is likely the main problem. This is a shot in the dark at best, but if anyone out there has heard of it or can offer any clues, I'd appreciate hearing from you on the list. Thanks in advance for anything you can offer. David E.
