Born July 11, 1938 he was the son of the late John Roderick and Theresa (MacNeil) MacNeil. Joseph is survived by his wife Barbara (Chalk); daughters, Wendy and Joanne, grandson, Thomas, all of Toronto, Ontario. He is also survived by his brothers, George, Big Pond Center, Angus, Peter, and Pius all of Toronto, Ontario. Cremation has taken place. There will be a private family memorial service at a later date. Donations may be made to the Sacred Heart Church, Johnstown, N.S. Beloved wife of the late Joseph DeLeskie. Beloved daughter of the late Andrew J. Keough and Hannah Ryan. Loving mother of Ron (Mary), Carl (Kathy), Gerard (Mybritt), Mary Marcella, Jean, Rachelle (Bruce), Hannah (Sam) and predeceased by Celeste and Paul. Dear sister of Leo, Danny, Mary, Lenora, Pius and predeceased by Rusty, Joe and Harriet. Beloved by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
