The 1871 census covers all fourteen polling districts of Cape Breton County, which were, in 1871, Ball's Creek, Beaver Cove, Big Pond, Christmas Island, Cow Bay, East Bay, Gabarus, Howley's Ferry, Lingan Mines, Louisbourg, Main-a-Dieu, Myra Bay, Sydney, and Sydney Mines. If you are already a registered member of my site, you will be able to view the information immediately. New users will have to complete the free registration process.
