The 1861 census covers all fifteen polling districts of Inverness County, which were, in 1861, Plaster Cove, Judique, River Inhabitants, Port Hood, Mabou, Broad Cove (Intervale), Broad Cove, Margaree, Young's Bridge, Friar's Head, Cheticamp, Whycocomagh, Lake Ainslie, River Dennis, and North East Margaree. If you are already a registered member of my site, you will be able to view the information immediately. New users will have to complete the free registration process.
