The recent passing of Olney Grant MacDonald, whose obituary appeared in the Cape Breton Post on 18 May, led me to the following obituary from the Boston Globe for her sister Rita Grant Poirier. They were daughters of Robert Grant (b. 1860) and Ada Lewis, and the oldest known descendants of Point Edward pioneers Charles Grant and Nancy Gordon.
