My name is Elaine MacKenzie and we are related. Florence J. Byron is the sister of my grandfather, John Alexander Mackenzie of Antigonish (Beech Hill), Nova Scotia. Florence trained as a nurse at Littleton, NH. She married Eugene Byron in Littleton and moved to White River Junction in 1922. She was a member of the DAV Auxillary and American War Mothers and the Ladies Catholic Benevolent Association. Florence and John's parents were Wiliam Fraser and Christina Gillis from Antigonish,NS.
