Halifax Herald December 10, 2004 BENOIT, Donald Joseph - 59, Pomquet, Antigonish Co., passed away on December 9, 2004, in St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Born in Pomquet, he was a son of Mary Haley. Donald was a self-employed carpenter. He was a member of the Carpenters Union. He is survived by his wife, the former Sarah Chiasson; daughters, Anne Marie Kaiser, Edmonton; Margaret Rose and Cheryl, Edmonton; sons, Joseph (Glenda), Brampton, Ont.; John, Edmonton; grandchildren, Bryden, Justin, Katlin, Jessica, Mary, and Melinda; brothers, David, John and George, Amherst; sisters, Susan, Moncton; Donna, Ontario; Kathleen, New Brunswick; Lisa, Amherst. He was predeceased by brothers, Allan and Robert; sister, Anne. Visitation will be in C.L. Curry Funeral Home, 135 College St., Antigonish on Saturday from 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be in Ste. Croix Church, Pomquet, on Sunday at 2 p.m., Rev. P.J. Baccardax presiding.
