    3. OK - here's the setup. I read a newsgroup post from somebody in Lorneville, Nova Scotia. As you might guess, my ears perk up when NS is mentioned; I didn't, however, recognize the placename. So, what's a rational geek to do? Right - http://www.mapquest.com/ Lorneville didn't show up. So, off to my bookmarks to see if we can't run it down using a tourism site. It worked; I found it and figured out that it's on the North Shore. So back to Mapquest to try a few nearby names. Nothing showed up until I got to Pugwash. No surprise; half of the North Shore didn't show up[1]. So I get to Pugwash, the map comes in, and it turns out that Nova Scotia has relocated to the NorthWest Territories! Go to Mapquest, plug in Pugwash, NS, look at the results directly above the star, and tell me I'm not going nuts. Obligatory Antigonish County reference: if you plug in Antigonish, you also see this artifact, so it seems to be a north-shore-wide phenomenon. Regards Joe [1] So you're asking by this point - why didn't I just reach under the desk I was at, pull out a dead-tree-edition map, and look in the index? A) If you have to ask... B) If I had, I wouldn't have found this particular artifact. -- Joe Makowiec can be reached at: http://makowiec.org/contact/?Joe http://makowiec.org/
