I descend from the same line as Eileen and yourself. My line splits at Louis Charpentier. I descend from his brother, Elie-David. Elie-David went to PEI in about 1820 and married a girl in Rollo Bay named Veronique Bourque. This is the woman I think may be Ann listed in the census. I think she may be the sister in law of Louis and Marine. I have been thinking about contacting relations in Nova Scotia. Have you ever been in contact with them? I met a whole crew of Carpenters on PEI (pretty much every Carpenter on the island is a relative of ours) and thought it was great fun. Respond back or email me and let me know.
