I think we are just going to have to assume that Anne in Havre Boucher was Elie-David's widow. Who else would she be? She is listed as the head of the house hold even though her brother and sister in law lived there before. I wonder if the land was actually Elie-David's that he let Louis and family live on while he went to PEI. Maybe I'll try some land records and see how far that gets me. I wonder what situation happened in my family's past that would cause a woman to leave her children and grandchildren in PEI and move to Havre Boucher. Maybe they just didn't get along.
