Hello. I'm researching a Hugh Howard MacDonald born in Pictou in 1866 to Hugh and Christina (MacDonald)MacDonald. When Hugh Sr. died Christina took her infant son to the town of Antigonish where Hugh Jr. was baptized (St. Ninians). The two of them lived with her brother Hugh (a blacksmith). They appear there in the 1871 and 1881 censuses. c1887 Hugh Jr. (my ggrandfather) left N.S. because of a Halloween prank gone bad. He settled in MA and died there c1932. I have visited Antigonish, hired researchers, talked to Ronnie DD, and had my DNA tested. This is still a brick wall for me. Any leads appreciated. Raymond MacDonald
