Chronicle Herald September 4, 2007 DeCOSTE, Rita Mae - 65, Frankville, Antigonish Co., passed away September 1, 2007, in St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish, surroudeded by family and friends. Born in Lanark, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Ann (Broussard) Rogers. Rita worked at Goodman Company Ltd. for many years. She enjoyed a good game of cards, fiddle music, and in her early years, dancing. She loved the company of children. She was a member of St. Paul's Parish, Havre Boucher. She is survived by daughters, Lisa (Paul) Miller, Texas; Charlene (Lawrence) DeCoste, Lanark; Theresa (Kirk) Starratt, Wolfville; Roseanne (Tommy) DeCoste, Calgary; granddaughters, Tonie Miller, Texas; Chloe McNeil, Calgary; grandson, Paul Miller, Texas; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Elizabeth "Betty", Sarah Marie in infancy; brother-in-law, Frederick Landry. Visitation in C.L. Curry Funeral Home, 135 College St., Antigonish, today 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral will be held in St. Ninian's Cathedral on Thursday at 10 a.m., Rev. Angus MacGillivray presiding. Burial in the parish cemetery. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Palliative Care Society of St. Martha's Regional Hospital.
