Chronicle Herald September 12, 2007 GROVER, Mary Isabel - 85, Goshen, Guysborough Co., passed away peacefully on September 11, 2007. Born in Springfield, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Catherine (Rose) MacGregor. On June 14, 1944, she married Seward Grover of Goshen. She was a devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother. Mary loved to sew, write letters and bake. She always made sure no one left her house without a cup of tea and something to eat. She is survived by her sons, William (Ricky), Goshen; Merritt, at home; John (Carol), Antigonish; grandchildren, Anne Marie MacKenzie, Dunmore; Donna (Mike) Rogers, Yellowknife; Robert, Vancouver; Anthony (Clarissa), Lower South River; great-grandchildren, Mariah and Courtney MacKenzie; Michael Rogers; sisters, Ina (Emery) Corkum, Halifax; Dama Mason, Oakville, Ont.; Rose Mason, R.K. MacDonald Nursing Home, Antigonish; brother, Arthur (Marsha) MacGregor, Fredericton; brother-in-law, Peter MacIntosh, Argyle; sister-in-law, Tena DeYoung, R.K. MacDonald Nursing Home, Antigonish; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Seward; sister, Christine; brother, John, and a sister in infancy. Visitation will be in C.L. Curry Funeral Home, 135 College St., Antigonish, from 7-9 p.m. today and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday. Funeral will be held in Goshen Gospel Church on Friday at 2 p.m. with Pastor John Luten presiding. Burial in Sunset Cemetery, Argyle. Lunch to follow in Goshen Community Centre. Family flowers only please. Donations in Mary's memory may be made to the R.K.
