Chronicle Herald September 10, 2007 GERO, Agnes Eveline - 68, Rear Monastery, Antigonish Co. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother whom the Lord has called home, on September 8, 2007, in St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish. She leaves behind daughters, Donna, Antigonish; Delores (Gus), Georgetown, Ont.; favourite son, Allen (Annabell), Downsview, Ont., and son-of-her-heart, Arthur James "A.J." Ashe (Tina), Antigonish; brothers, Ernest, Edmonton, and John, Toronto; 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Agnes worked at Roundtree's in Ontario for a number of years before leaving to become a graphic artist and working with Art Composition and Associates for 15 years. She returned to Monastery to care for Nanny, going back to Toronto for a period of time to care for her mother who died in 1983, and then returning to Monastery to again care for Nanny. She was predeceased by her parents, Rhoda and James Gero; daughter, Denise; sister, Jean; great-grandchildren, Carmen, Jaden, and Alexander. Visitation will be in Upper Big Tracadie United Baptist Church from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday and Friday where Funeral service will be conducted on Saturday at 2 p.m. with Rev.
