Jerome Francis DELOREY. Funeral services for the late Jerome Francis DELOREY, 60, Orchard Terrace, Antigonish, were held December 8 in Ste Croix Church, Pomquet, with Father P.J. Baccardax officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery. Mr. DELOREY died at home. Readers at the funeral Mass were Edward LANGILLE, Karen DELOREY and Vanessa DELOREY. Ashley DELOREY and Amy DELOREY presented the offertory gifts. Music was provided by Ste Croix Choir. Active pallbearers were Clement DELOREY, Joe DELOREY, Henry DELOREY, Anthony DELOREY, Charles DELOREY and James DELOREY. Honourary pallbearers were Lynn DeWOLFE, Karen DELOREY, Edward LANGILLE, Darlene DEON, Christopher DELOREY, Kyle DELOREY, Jennifer LYON and Andy DELOREY. Born in Monk's Head, Antigonish County, he was a son of the late Leonard and Emma J. (DURANT) DELOREY. He worked as a personal care worker in the United States and later at St. Martha's Hospital and the R.K. MacDonald Nursing Home in Antigonish. He is survived by five sisters, Bernadette (George) VENEDAM , Sudbury, Ontario; Annie DEYOUNG, Isabel BROUSSARD, Rita DeWOLFE, Pomquet; Theresa (Joe) MURPHY, St. Joseph's; six brothers, Clement (Anna), Henry (Adele), Charles (Joan), Pomquet; Joe (Veronica), North Grant; Anthony (Carolyn), Westville; James (Jean), Pomquet. He was predeceased by two brothers, Johnnie, one in infancy; two sisters, Rose, Claire; three brothers-in-law, Joe BROUSSARD, Wilfred DeWOLFE, Anthony DEYOUNG.
