The Casket, March 31, 2004 DONALD F. CAMERON - Funeral services for the late Donald F. Cameron, 86, Waltham, Massachusetts, formerly of Marydale, Antigonish County, were held March 18 in St. Bernard's Church, Newton, Mass. Mr. Cameron died March 15, 2004, in Waltham. Born in Marydale, he was a son of the late Kenneth and Mary (MacISAAC) Cameron, In his early years he was an Antigonish businessman. He and his brother Archie operated Cameron's Taxi in the 1940s and 50s, and he was the original owner of the Lighthouse Restaurant, Lower South River, now Mother Webb's. He later moved to Boston where he and his brother Archie operated Cameron's Contracting, building numerous highrises in Waltham. He was an avid step dancer and violin player; participating in the Antigonish Highland Games for 50 years with his brother Archie. He is survived by his wife, Martha (JONES); daughter, Jean, Waltham; three sons, Donnie, Archie Jr., Waltham; Alex, Florida; several grandchildren; one great-grandchild; twin brother, Archie (Mary) Waltham; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by five sisters, Jennie MacDONALD, Mary CARROLL, Margaret "Peggy" SULLIVAN, Mae FARRELL, Catherine CAMERON; five brothers, Alex, Angus, Allan, John, Lawrence.
