Halifax Herald April 24, 2004 TRENHOLM, Basil Matthew - 90, formerly of Tracadie, Antigonish Co., died April 22, 2004, in R.K. MacDonald Nursing Home, Antigonish. Born in Port Elgin, N.B., he was a son of the late Charles and Amanda (Allan) Trenholm. Basil was a long-time fisherman and boat builder. He is survived by daughter-in-law, Sunnie Trenholm, Afton; granddaughters, Sandra Trenholm, Antigonish; Cindy MacPherson, Shubenacadie; Audrey Armsworthy, Stewiacke; Penny Cutting, Harrow, Ont.; Cheryl Trenholm, Heatherton; 17 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife, Rita; second wife, Bertha; sons, Normand and Vernon; brothers, Alton, Jacob, and Bliss; sisters, Minnie and Flora; granddaughter, Deborah Lee Trenholm; great-grandson, Christopher MacPherson. Visitation will be in C.L. Curry Funeral Home, 135 College St., Antigonish, today from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral will be held on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. in St. Peter's Church, Tracadie, Rev. P.J.
