Halifax Herald April 12, 2004 ROSS, Rev. Alexander A. - 93, Christmas Island, died peacefully April 6, 2004, at home. Born in Maryvale, Father Alex was a son of the late Penelope MacDonald and Colin Francis Ross. Surviving are sister, Mary MacLeod; sister-in-law, Ella (Gallagher) Ross; nieces, Ann, Mary K. and Bridget MacLeod, Margaret and Penny Ross, Mary Carson (Gerald); nephew, Allan; several grandnieces and grandnephews. He was predeceased by his parents; brother, Colin Ross; brother-in-law, Barney MacLeod. Visitation 2-9 p.m., with bible vigil 7:30 p.m., both today in St. Barra Church, Christmas Island, where funeral mass will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 13
