Halifax Herald November 8, 2004 DeYOUNG, Lena Margaret - 89, Pomquet, Antigonish Co., passed away peacefully Friday, November 5, 2004, in St. Martha's Regional Hospital. Born in Pomquet on November 23, 1914, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Annie (Benoit) Morell. She was a member of St. Croix Parish and was very proud of her Acadian heritage. Lena was an avid bingo player. Surviving are her husband, Bernard, Pomquet; daughter, Annie Mae (Barry) Chisholm, Pomquet; son, Joseph (R.K. MacDonald Nursing Home); cherished granddaughters, Michelle and Nicole Chisholm, Calgary, Alta.; brother, Willie, Pomquet; and sister, Effie MacGregor, Natick, Mass. She was predeceased by son, Pierre; brothers, Aloysius, Ambrose, Louie, Leo; and sister, Bertha. Visitation was held Sunday, and again today from 2-4, 7-9 p.m. in MacIsaac Funeral Home, 61 Pleasant St., Antigonish. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in St. Croix Church, Pomquet, Rev.
