Halifax Herald November 4, 2004 TATE, Julie "Judy" - 49, Brampton, Ont., formerly of Heatherton, Antigonish Co., passed away on November 1, 2004, in Brampton. Born in Antigonish, she was a daughter of the late John Frederick and Ann Onna (McCarthy) MacIntyre. Judy was employed as administrative assistant at Mr. Dairy in Toronto, and worked many years at Speedy Propane in Antigonish. She was a devoted member of St. Leonard's Parish, Brampton, and a former member of Heatherton CWL. Surviving are husband, Archie; daughter, Glenda (Joseph) Benoit, Brampton; sons, Larry (Melissa) and Brendon (Marla), Heatherton; grandchildren, Kailin and Jessica Benoit and Kevin Tate; brothers, Larry (Eileen), Joe (Terry), Brampton; Alex (Peggy), New Glasgow; Robert and Greg (Barbara), Toronto; Clare (Dianne), Brampton; sisters, Anne (Verne) MacIntrye and Florence (John) Szabo, Brampton. She was predeceased by brothers, Fred, Parker, and Tom. Visitation in C.L. Curry Funeral Home, 135 College St., Antigonish, today from 7-9 p.m. and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral will be held on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, Heatherton, Rev. Christian N'Waterali presiding. Burial in the parish cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
