I'm a native of the Boston, Mass. area. Yes, Natick is a suburb of Boston, and there were tons of Canadians all over the Boston area. My dad and all 4 grandparents were from Nova Scotia, and my mother's parents (Rev. Charles Wesley Allen & wife nee Malinda Burton) lived in the Boston area too. So did my other grandmother (nee Elizabeth Maria Hatfield called "Bessie"), after she was widowed, and her husband, my paternal grandfather, Rev. Peter Stewart MacGregor, graduated from Andover Newton Theoloogical School in Newton, Mass. Rev. Allen also attended Andover Newton. We also had family friends in Natick, Mass., called Roy and Virginia Millet (spelling?) and their daughter, Celeste, back in the 40's, 50's, and 60's. I know I have a distant MacKinnon cousin living in Natick as well, but I'm not sure of his first name.
