Wednesday, July 28, 2004 Leo Thomas GALLANT A private family committal for the late Leo Thomas GALLANT, 86, Sinclair Island Road, formerly of Trenton Road, was held in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens. Mr. GALLANT died July 19, 2004, in Northumberland Veterans Unit. Born in Moncton, New Brunswick, he was the son of the late Thomas and Evelyn (THIBODEAU) GALLANT. He started in the printing industry with his first job at the Evening News in New Glasgow. He served overseas with the Royal Canadian Air Force. He was a commercial salesman in the graphic arts industry in Atlantic Canada. He opened his own business, Graphic Sales and Service on Trenton Road. After retirement he spent the winters in Port St. Lucie, Florida, and enjoyed his computer and playing electric organs. He was a past member of United Commercial Travellers Association. He is survived by daughter, Nancy (William) FUKES, New Glasgow; three sons, Leo (Peggy) GALLANT, Antigonish; Gerald (Bonnie) GALLANT, Sherwood Park, Alberta; Milton (Helen) GALLANT, Chance Harbour; nine grandchildren, Drew (Tracy) and Craig (Shauna) FUKES, L.T., Ian, and Ray GALLANT, Gerry and Elizabeth GALLANT, Jeffery and Kevin GALLANT; three great-grandchildren, Victoria, Ethan, Haley; four sisters, Alma SONIER, Irene HOWARD, Marie MacDONALD, Vicki (Flo) HANNER. He was predeceased by his wife Margaret “Mardy” (HOLMES) GALLANT; five stepsisters.
