Halifax Herald November 24, 2004 ROACHE, Mary Anne - 80, wife of the late Wilfred "Kid" Roache of Antigonish, passed away peacefully surrounded by her children on November 23, 2004, in the New Halifax Infirmary, QEII. Born in Glace Bay, she was a daughter of the late George and Annie (Meechan) Burrows. She is survived by daughters, Rosemary (David) Forbes, Birmingham, Ala.; Marilyn (Bernie) Theriault, Ottawa; Annette (Mike) Chisholm, Patricia (Joe) MacDonald, Timberlea; sons, George (Marguerite), Nassau, Bahamas; Wilfred (Darlene), Burlington, Ont.; grandchildren, Serge, Justin and Elizabeth Theriault, Zachary Forbes, Gillian and Daniel Chisholm, Sarah and Dierdra Roache, Nathaniel and Alexa MacDonald, Sean "Kid" and Katelyn Roache. She was predeceased by her husband, Wilfred "Kid" Roache; brothers, Jimmy, Johnny, Ronald and Danny Burrows. Visitation 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today in C.L. Curry Funeral Home, 135 College St., Antigonish. Funeral mass will be held on Thursday at 2 p.m. in St. Ninian's Cathedral, Rev. Andrew Boyd presiding. Burial in the parish cemetery.
