Halifax Herald May 12, 2004 MacDONALD, Francis - 86, Lochaber, Antigonish Co., died Monday, May 10, 2004, in St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Born in South Lochaber, he was a son of the late William and Nell (Cooper) MacDonald. He was a farmer, heavy equipment operator, and school bus driver for St. Mary's Municipality. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Sylina (MacNeil); daughter, Mary (Jimmie) Long, Salmon River; brother, Reginald, South Lochaber; precious grandchildren, Michael, Shelley, James, Shawn and Eric Long who will dearly miss their "Grampa". He was predeceased by daughter, Monica MacDonald; brothers, Robert, Joseph and Gerald. Visitation 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday in MacIsaac Funeral Home, Antigonish. Liturgy of Christian burial 2 p.m. Friday in St. Patrick's Church, Lochaber, Rev. Paul Murphy and Rev. R.D. Smith presiding. Burial to follow in the parish cemetery.
