Halifax Herald May 22, 2004 CUSACK (Gillis), Anne Theresa - 55, Antigonish, died peacefully May 20, 2004, in St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Born in Clydesdale, Antigonish Co., she was a daughter of Joseph and Jean (Chisholm) Gillis. A graduate of Mount Saint Bernard College, Antigonish, Anne was a former employee in the Registrar's office of St. Francis Xavier University. For the past 25 years she managed The Chateau Motel, one of the family businesses. A person of deep faith, Anne was a member of St. Ninian's Parish. Anne received joy and satisfaction from spending time with family and friends and she had a great love for animals. Known for her quiet, genuine presence, Anne will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by everyone who knew her. She is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Gary Cusack; sons, Brent, Truro; David and Kevin, Antigonish; sisters, Mary (John) Murphy, Clydesdale; Claire (Alphonse) Juurlink, St. Andrews; brother, Hugh V. Gillis, Stellarton. Visitation in C.L. Curry Funeral Home, 135 College St., Antigonish, today from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday, May 23, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, May 24, at 10 a.m. in St. Ninian's Cathedral, Rev.
