Hi Listers, I just came from a very interesting lecture at St. F X University by Lucille H Campey who has written 4 books on Scottish Immigration to Canada. Her latest book which she is promoting is called "After the Hector: The Scottish Pioneers of Nova Scotia and Cape Breton 1773-1852", Natural History Books, Toronto, 2004. It should be widely available - 373 pages, 192 written text and pictures and the rest are appended lists of ships of varied sorts not just passenger ships but others (cargo) that accepted passengers on return trips.Very interesting theory of Scottish settlement in Nova Scotia. I think I will enjoy the read as much as I enjoyed her lecture. Marleen
